Working together with PR Agency, Goldbug; I was tasked with delivering a PR film, featuring Footballing & Punditry legend, Chris 'Kammy' Kamara.
The idea behind the campaign was that research had shown that in Britain, Van Drivers was the profession which showed the highest chance of mental health problems, due to the isolation and solitary nature of the job. And when Van Drivers were asked about this, they said that listening to podcasts, sharing a problem, and playing team sports are best for improving their mental wellbeing.
So, Mercedes Benz decided to intervene by sponsoring a Van-Drivers football tournament with the aim of supporting van drivers on and off the road, by bringing lonely van drivers together through football so they can get together and improve their mental wellbeing.
The remit of the project included taking the agency's concept and script and translating that through to a seamless production, including handling all pre-production, live content (directing & shooting the content), as well as handling all of the post-production through to delivery of assets.
